A Letter in a Bottle

Bottle The beer bottle of letter entering in which GuinnessBeer carried out sea dumping in 1959. It was the advertising purpose of the 200th anniversary. Seemingly, in the bottle, the directions document of "connecting a date and a place if you gather" is contained. Moreover, seemingly, the proposal document "a table lamp will be made from this bottle" is also contained.

This bottle is not what I gathered. Mr. Iwago Mitsuaki, an animal photographer, gathers by Coats Island of Canada. I am a prize and applied it. (Wife says apply a more valuable thing.)

Seemingly, there are two kinds of bottles which Guinness abandoned. One of the two is an ordinary beer bottle. However, this is an exclusive bottle. The ship which appears on the Atlantic Ocean, the north-south United States continent made into the drifting-ashore target are minced by this surface. There is about 22cm of height. It seems that a cork bears the rough sea for 40 years, and the inner letter is also solid.

It seems that especially Guinness does not raise information to Web about this bottle now. Since 2 million bottles were abandoned, I think that there is so no curio value.

Coats Island is in the east coast in Canada. However, it is in the north side (entrance of Hudson Bay) in Newfoundland or Quebec. Therefore, it separates from the ocean current which poured the bottle. It is pleasant to imagine, "Really, how did it flow and probably reached."
